About North Clinics |
| |
We
at North Sails One Design are continually looking for ways to
improve your racing performance. In addition to building faster sails,
we have created a clinic series to improve your racing skills. This
is a very flexible clinic that will concentrate on your specific
needs.
If you want to improve your sailing skills this is an opportunity
not to pass up. It is also the perfect warm up before a major
regatta. Our "on the water clinics" are very demanding
and will push your sailing ability to the limit. Utilizing
video coverage you will not only be able to
see how top sailors in your fleet sail, but will be able to
compare that with your own sailing style.
Club Clinics are available for one or more boat class.

Clinic Reviews:

"I can not tell you enough how valuable the information
was that we got from the clinic. Charlie Enright
was on target with the detail he provided for the J/24 group.
Thank you for bringing them to Lake George."

"Great clinic! Greg is a great teacher and
I was amazed at just how interesting
he was. Got alot out of it."
Kevin Kearley, Lightning sailor

"What a great way to start the season.. Great discussion with a knowledgeable, World class sailor like John MacCausland who makes a difference in your early season boat speed."
Nelson Stephenson

"Brian Hayes held a 3-day tuning seminar for Green Bay Lightning Fleet 112 which covered on the water practice starts and races with Brian giving tips to everyone on the water. Taking tips from this seminar we went to Sheboygan for MidWest Districts and won! Thanks to North Sails, Brian Hayes and the Lightning Class for having this resource to help everyone keep improving. Top 5 finishers were all North Sail Customers!".

"Greg, I found your seminar amazing in that newby sailors and experienced sailors alike could understand and learn a lot. I listened to what club members were saying afterwards and it seemed like everyone learned from your talk. Thank you! " Pauline Neilson, Birmingham Sailing Club

"Greg, on behalf of the Birmingham Sailing Club, I want to thank you once again for coming to the club and sharing you knowledge and your love of the sport. Your willingness to spend your weekend coaching and teaching our members will help many of them (including myself) move their skills to the next level. You should take great pride in the positive impact you have had on our club and to world of competitive sailing. Thank you. '
Jim Sisson, Commodore-Birmingham Sailing Club.

"Greg: Just a short note to thank you again for yesterday's session here in Birmingham. I learned a tremendous amount - I just hope I can remember everything. The video was particularly instructive. being able to actually see what you are talking about makes it much easier to understand than just reading it in a book or hearing someone discuss it. Thanks again. "
