D-9 MAINSAIL

  • NEW FOR 2008!

  • The D-9 is a further development of our famous Olympic Gold Medal winning mainsail.  Built from DP HTP 180 this versatile sail gives excellent performance from 0-30 knots. Easy to trim the D-9 has proved devastating from flat water lake sailing to choppy or lumpy sea conditions.

  • Mainsails include: battens, sail numbers, insignia, tell tails, royalty, vision windows, and sail bag.

M-3F MAINSAIL

  • This is a great all purpose sail with proven results in all conditions. The vertical shaping in the bottom half of the sail is flat to provide maximum adjustability using the outhaul. Ease the outhaul to get a deep sail with ample leach return for maximum power or pull it tight and flatten out the entire bottom of the sail.

  • The M-3F main is a refinement of our M-3 that was used by Betsy Allison's team to win the 2003 Worlds and by Carol Cronin's team to win the 2004 US Olympic Trials!

  • Mainsails include: battens, sail numbers, insignia, tell tails, royalty, vision windows, and sail bag.

OM3+ LIGHT-MEDIUM JIB

  • The OM3+ is the newest jib in the North Yngling inventory. It is the deepest of our three jibs and carries its depth higher in the sail that many other jibs. It is a powerful sail with a rounder entry for a wide groove and the balanced helm.

  • Jibs include: window, telltales, royalty, and sail bag.

CD-4 LIGHT-MEDIUM JIB

  • The CD-4 is popular with the European fleet and is designed for ocean sailing in light/medium conditions. The sail gives power and punch to the boat while maintaining great height.

  • Jibs include: window, tell tails, royalty, and sail bag.

H-4 HEAVY JIB

  • The H-4 is a further development from our CL-4 design. Flatter than the CD-4 and manufactured from Contender 4.46 Polykote, this sail is a real weapon in strong breeze.

  • Jibs include: window, tell tails, royalty, and sail bag.

B-7 SPINNAKER

The B-7 is our newest design and intended as an all-purpose spinnaker with a deeper head section than traditional Yngling spinnakers. The B-7 is easy to trim and shows great speed in light and heavy winds alike. Manufactured from North’s own Norlite 60.

FR-2 SPINNAKER

The full-radial FR-2 has proven to be extremely smooth and durable. The shape is flat in the head for maximum projected area and deep in the mid-foot for power when pole-back surfing. Used by Betsy Allison's team to win the 2003 Worlds and by Carol Cronin's team to win the 2004 US Olympic Trials! Built from AirX 650 cloth, the FR-2 is as light as Yngling class rules allow.
