NEW TUNING GUIDE |
Announcing our new Interlake 2006 Tuning Guide, wrote by our guru Greg Fisher. |
|
|
|
|

|
ALL-PURPOSE
MAINSAIL
-
The North mainsail is built out of 3.8 ounce Superfirm/Duroperm.
-
This sail has been redesigned over the past two years with
the help of past National Champions, Skip Dieball and George
Fisher.
-
This new main is slightly flatter in front, down low, and
fuller and more powerful up top.
-
It demonstrates higher pointing capabilities and most importantly,
a more forgiving trim.
-
Mainsails include: sail numbers, insignia/numbers and sail
bag.
OPEN WATER MAINSAIL
- We also offer the Open Water Mainsail.
|
|
|
ALL-PURPOSE
JIB
-
The jib is built out of a 225 relatively soft fabric to make
the sail not only more forgiving to trim and easier to read
in light winds, but also more durable when used with the furler.
-
This jib is a relatively full powerful sail to help balance
the excessive windward helm that develops in the Interlake
in heavy winds.
-
The entry is somewhat round which helps make it a forgiving
boat to steer.
-
Jib include: Vision window and sail bag.
|
CROSSCUT SPINNAKER
|

|
-
The CrossCut spinnaker is built out of AirX 600 cloth.
-
Its characteristic open leeches make it an easy sail to trim,
but also adds more projected open area when sailing downwind.
-
The open leeches and flatter head make it an easy sail to
trim while reaching.
-
This sail is a true, all around performer and is definitely
the standard of the class.
|
FR-2 FULL RADIAL SPINNAKER
|

|
- Our powerful FR-2 Full Radial spinnaker is available in two different cloths: North's exclusive .5 oz. Norlite and .75 oz. Nylon.
