NORTH BUCCANEER
MAINSAIL
The North Buccaneer Main is designed specifically to fit the relatively stiff mast of the Buccaneer. It is flatter down low to help keep the slot open between the exit of the main and entry of the jib. It carries most of its power up high where it is most easy to depower in bigger breeze.
The North Buccaneer Main is built from a high performance 3.8 oz coated fabric and includes:
- Cunningham
- Shelf foot
- Sail numbers
- Tapered battens
- Buccaneer insignia
- Leech telltales
- Sail bag

GRAND PRIX MYLAR JIB
he Buccaneer Mylar Jib is built with a relatively full entry, which aids in more forgiving and easier steering. It's built out of 3.91 oz laminated sailcloth.
Because of the relatively firm lighter weight Mylar fabric, the Grand Prix Mylar jib should excel in medium to light breezes but will still be relatively durable through the entire range of breeze.
The Buccaneer Grand Prix Mylar Jib includes a window, telltales and bag.
This jib can only be built for the wire luff.
"As promised, I got my jib on Friday and it's gorgeous. I used it yesterday at Union Lake, NJ where we had our Second Annual Jersey in July Regatta. My wife and I love the mylar jib. Robin commented that the window was in a better location than our old one. I could feel the extra power and am convinced that it helped me take second place." -- Bryan Lanier

ALL AROUND MYLAR JIB
The same fast design as the Grand Prix jib built from 4.3 Mylar for even greater durability.
The Buccaneer Mylar Jib includes a window, telltales and bag.
This jib can only be built for the wire luff. |

BUCCANEER DACRON JIB
This is our general purpose Dacron Jib built out of 5.1 oz. Dacron. Because it is relatively full in the front, the jib is very easy and forgiving to steer.
The North Buccaneer Dacron Jib can be built for either a wire luff jib (which we strongly suggest- contact us for info on how to update your boat for the wire luff) or for the older tube style luff.
The AP Dacron Jib
includes: window, telltales and bag. |

FR-1 FULL RADIAL SPINNAKER
The FR-1 Spinnaker is a new full radial design. The full radial panel layout is extremely helpful in maintaining the durability necessary to withstand being pulled in and out of the launcher tube as well as being sails in the heaviest of breeze.
Fitted with a take down patch ( or two if your boat setup requires it- please be sure to notify us), the FR-1 Full Radial Spinnaker is built out of Fleetwing Nylon fabric.
It is a powerful spinnaker with relatively open upper leeches which help project the shoulders when sailing downwind. |
